Mark M. Lanier, Ph.D. is Associate Professor of Criminal Justice and Legal Studies at the University of Central Florida. He holds an interdisciplinary doctoral degree from Michigan State University with concentrations in criminology/criminal justice, sociology and ecological psychology.  Most recently he created and maintains the Virtual Center for Epidemiological Criminology .

Timothy A. Akers, M.S., Ph.D. is the Assistant Dean for Research and Professor in the School of Community Health and Policy at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MarylandProfessionally, Dr. Akers has a diverse background in the professional and scientific practice of criminal justice and public health, to include his most recent appointment as the first Assistant Dean for Research in the School of Community Health and Policy at Morgan State University, Baltimore, Maryland.
