Please visit UCF for more information on when these courses will be available.

First course!

The first course ever taught on Epidemiological Criminology, EpiCrim, was taught at the University of Central Florida during summer semester 2008 on the Lake Mary Campus.  The students examined homelessness and global warming as the primary topics.  Due to the success of the initial course, two more classes are scheduled at the University of Central Florida.  Another PhD course in conjunction with the School of Public Health at Morgan State University is in the discussion stages. We also hope to have a certificate program on EpiCrim soon!

Next Courses

The second course was scheduled for Spring Semester of 2009 at the University of Central Florida.  Nearly seventy students took the class and examined many different issues that effect the health of society such as AIDS/HIV, increasing economic problems, crime, etc.  A third one will be offered soon. If you need an override see Marva or Mark.  A permanent course proposal is currently being reviewed at UCF.
